Prescription Queries:

Please may we remind you that our Prescription Administrators start at 9am every weekday. Therefore, please can we ask that you do not phone or come into the surgery before 9am with a prescription query.

To contact our Prescription Team, please telephone us on the main Surgery number, 01635 868006 and then select the option for the Prescription Team. If your call goes to voicemail, please leave a clear message with your name and query and one of the team will get back to you.

General Queries:

We are aiming to reserve the hour of 8am to 9am each morning for patients who would like to book an on the day / urgent telephone call with a clinician only.

Please telephone us to book an appointment as we ask you to only come down to the surgery in person when invited by a clinician or when it is absolutely necessary. We will update you on any changes going forward.

Our telephones are open until 18:30 every week night and there is always someone available to take your call.

If you aren’t able to get through to us on the telephone, please use the forms on our website to ask any questions. We will respond within 2 working days.

Zero Tolerance:

We’d like to thank our patients for their patience and understanding through what has been a difficult 18 months. Through hard work and good risk management, our doors have been open throughout the pandemic.

Nationwide, GP surgeries are experiencing increased demand for our services and we know it can be frustrating when appointments are in short supply.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that our staff are doing their best to help you, will often go the extra mile, and do not deserve to be spoken to in a rude or offensive manner.

We take abuse of our staff very seriously and will not tolerate it.

Please treat our team with the kindness and understanding that you expect in return.

We ask that all our patients let us know if there are any changes to their contact details. This is to ensure we can get in touch with you quickly should the need arise.

If you receive a message from us asking you to book an appointment, please do so at your earliest convenience.

Although we will attempt to contact you on a number of occasions, it is your responsibility to respond to this request.
