Welcome to Burdwood Surgery
Foreign Travel Information
Travel Vaccinations
We are only able to give travel vaccinations to patients who are registered with the Burdwood Surgery.
Prior to your holiday/travel, please complete a Travel Risk Assessment form. This needs to be completed at least 6 to 8 weeks before you travel.
Once completed, the risk assessment will be reviewed by one of our Practice Nurses. We will then be in contact with advice sheets and what vaccinations you need to have. Once you have heard from us with which vaccines you need, please phone and book an appointment with a Practice Nurse.
Some vaccinations will be chargeable
- We request this is paid before the vaccines are given. A list of fees are available below
- Please bring cash or a cheque covering the cost with you to the appointment.
- No vaccine will be given without payment.
We recommended the following internet sites for those patients who are unable to visit the surgery but need travel advice.
Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR)
Measles remains a serious disease and global threat. If you are travelling abroad, including Europe, and have not had 2 doses of MMR vaccine, please seek advice from our practice nurse within your travel consultation appointment.
Vaccination Fees
If you are registered with the Burdwood Surgery and vaccines are required for your travel, prices are as below and are payable in advance.
For all payments we ask for cash or a cheque. Bank card details will need to be added to the back of the cheque.
We are unable to process credit cards.
